This policy explains what personal information Kili Beyond Adventure (“we”, “us”) collects through this website, why we collect it and what we do with it. We are based at Plot 2A, Block No. 003, Boma Road, Arusha, Tanzania.

What we collect

When you send us an enquiry through the “Plan your adventure” form or any other form on this site, we collect the details you choose to give us:

• your name, email address and phone or WhatsApp number
• your country of residence
• your trip ideas: destinations, dates, trip length, number of adults and children, accommodation style, budget range, interests and your message
• the page you sent the enquiry from

We also record the IP address the enquiry was sent from. We use it only to protect the form against spam and abuse.

If you contact us by WhatsApp, email or phone, we receive the information you send us through that service.

How we use it

• to reply to your enquiry and plan, quote and arrange your trip
• to book the services your trip needs, such as accommodation, park permits, flights and transfers; we share only the details each supplier needs
• to keep in touch with you before, during and after your trip
• to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not add you to a marketing mailing list unless you ask us to.

Where it is stored

Enquiries are stored in this website’s database and sent to our email inbox. Only our team can access them. We keep them for as long as we need them to plan and support your trip and to meet our legal obligations, and then delete them.

Cookies and third-party services

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Some services from other companies are involved when you use the site:

• Google Fonts: the fonts on this site are loaded from Google’s servers, which receive your IP address to deliver them.
• WhatsApp: the WhatsApp buttons open WhatsApp, which is run by Meta under its own privacy policy.
• Social media and review sites: links to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Tripadvisor and SafariBookings take you to those sites, which have their own privacy policies.

Visit counter

The footer shows how many visits the website has had. To avoid counting the same visitor twice, the website briefly keeps a one-way scrambled code made from your IP address for 30 minutes; your IP address itself is not stored, and the code cannot be used to identify you. Your browser tab remembers that the visit was counted until you close it. See our Cookie Policy.

The map on our contact page is provided by Google Maps, which may collect information under Google’s own privacy policy.

Your rights
