The migration is an ongoing movement of animals that takes place throughout the year. The migration occurs within an area that is known as the “Serengeti ecosystem.” The 40,000-square mile area is defined by Masai Mara National Reserve in the north and, in the south, Ndutu, Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Maswa Game Reserve in Tanzania.
The migration is not a singular, isolated event. Instead, the phrase describes the constant movement of over 1.5 million wildebeests and hundreds of thousands of zebras, as well as elands and gazelles. As with other wildlife, the purpose of the movement is the search for pasture and water.

Day01 Nairobi – Masai Mara
Pick up from your hotel at 0730 hrs and drive via the scenic Great Rift Valley to the Mara Reserve arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive.
Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge or Mara Leisure lodge.

Day02 Masai Mara
Full day spent exploring the park in search of the Big 5. Optional hot air Balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost of US$ 490 per person. The Maasai Mara Game Reserve is arguably Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary. It is the most famous and most visited game reserve in Kenya. The film ‘Out of Africa’ was made to a great extent in this reserve. Virtually every type of wildlife can be seen at the Mara.
Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge or Mara Leisure lodge.

Day03 Masai Mara

Morning game drive then drive to Nairobi via Narok; we stop to browse in the bustling, vibrant Masai markets to buy curios and handicrafts before continuing to Nairobi where our 3 Days Masai Mara Lodge Safari ends.
